My taskbar keeps disappearing randomly and will not come back until I restart.  Once I restart the taskbar comes back and then disappears again. I have looked at the other solutions from people having similar problems and the solutions do not work.

open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del, click Task Manager)

Click on File>New Task (Run) and enter "explorer.exe" (without the quotes)

Then click OK.

Does it come back?

◄that isn't it for most of us. I've been using third party screen savers for decades with all OS's. It is definitely a Microsoft problem and they should be fixing it. It just started for me a couple weeks ago and is becoming very frustrating to have to re-boot every time it happens. Let's get it fixed Microsoft!

I am now using the "bubbles" screen saver  , i was using a third party one...and suprise!! the prob seems to be gone!!.My computer has gone to the screen saver now thrice  and thrice gone to sleep  as well, but no disappearing taskbar anymore!!!

Further details: I use a customized desktop by Hyperdesk known as darkmatter:redshift.I was happy that i did not have to remove it to find my prob. But I am sad at not being able to use my awesome startrek system 47 screensaver.Well at least till Microsoft officially fixes this prob.

Right click the start button. Go to properties. Go to the taskbar tab at the top left corner. Check auto-hide the taskbar. Save your settings. Restart this process but uncheck the auto-hide option. This worked for me. :D Good luck!
