My taskbar keeps disappearing randomly and will not come back until I restart. Once I restart the taskbar comes back and then disappears again. I have looked at the other solutions from people having similar problems and the solutions do not work.

open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del, click Task Manager)
Click on File>New Task (Run) and enter "explorer.exe" (without the quotes)
Then click OK.
Does it come back?

I have been having the same problem. I followed the above suggestion and explorer opened fine. I can use my apps as long as I remember the hotkeys since I can't see anything anymore. Everything says it's running like it should in task manager. My desktop goes completely black, the taskbar at stops working, and I have to restart the computer to fix it. I'm getting real sick of stopping what I'm doing every couple hours to restart my computer.
I had the same problem. Stopping Windows explorer in task manager and restarting did fix the issue. In Windows 10, I didn't see explorer until I scrolled further down to Windows Processes.
My appeal would be to Microsoft to discover what causes this issue and put a fix in so users do not need to manually reset Windows Explorer in task manager each time this issue occurs.

I have found that creating a batch file that closes and then reopens explorer.exe is much less arduous than using task-manager.
