My taskbar keeps disappearing randomly and will not come back until I restart.  Once I restart the taskbar comes back and then disappears again. I have looked at the other solutions from people having similar problems and the solutions do not work.

open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del, click Task Manager)

Click on File>New Task (Run) and enter "explorer.exe" (without the quotes)

Then click OK.

Does it come back?

well i want to know why it happens. is it an operating system error (which mac os x is free of) or registry problem (another problem not in mac os x) i feel like Microsoft made so many errors on its operating system purposely to anger people. im too lazy to go on task manager every 2 hours

I am having the same issue with my taskbar.  My temporary solution that works every time, but does not correct the issue is to:

    1. right click
    2. click personalize
    3. click on screen saver
    4. preview screen saver
    5. move my mouse, then the task bar is back.

It takes like 3 seconds to do rather than opening up the task manager :)

I hope this is helpful <3
