My taskbar keeps disappearing randomly and will not come back until I restart. Once I restart the taskbar comes back and then disappears again. I have looked at the other solutions from people having similar problems and the solutions do not work.

open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del, click Task Manager)
Click on File>New Task (Run) and enter "explorer.exe" (without the quotes)
Then click OK.
Does it come back?

My taskbar does the same thing everytime I leave my laptop up and when it goes to sleep mode. Every single time I wake it up...the taskbar vanishes
Tried "explorer.exe", doesn't come back... Any other ideas?
I sometimes find that I get this problem if I try to 'drag and drop' icons onto the task bar. Also get a similar issue with desktop icons disappearing, for example if I rename them, and they won't re-appear until I re-boot my pc.

Does any type of error come up? Have you checked to make sure "auto-hide" isn't set?
