ERROR CODE 80072EFE WHILE ATTEMPTING TO UPDATE IN WINDOWS UPDATE MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. McAFEE installed after win security ess. uninstalled. several problems w/  programs " not responding" constantly and pc running very slow.  compaq presario  SR5550F

    tried all the other stuff.  TDSSKILLER fixed it!

    lol this is an annoying problem i have tried all of the microsoft fix's as well as the TDSSKiller and nothing has worked as far as the root problem i do know it lies there as the rundell. somthing or other was what was effected before this problem occured i have since cleaned the virus and malewere off of my computer and was gettin the error window that rundell couldnot start and thats when everything went to ____ on me. sorry for the run on and bad words i am just currently ready to shoot my computer. any input would be greatly appriciated

    @Kitcomei: How did your computer get infected with the rootkit? Why didn't your anti-virus & anti-spyware applications protect the computer from getting infected? Do any other infections remain on the computer?
