Hi, Creative have a keyboard which has a MIDI keyboard build in under the wristrest. Great idea but Creative can't be bothered to release driveers for Windows 7. The Vista drivers work for 32 bit Windows 7 but it seems impossible to get 64 bit Windows 7 to recognise the MIDI keyboard. I've installed the virtual XP on my machine but how can I get the drivers to install under the virtual XP (I assume it's in 32 bit mode) with out the 64 bit Windows 7 interfering with it ?
I'm asking here because Creative just refuse to discuss 64 bit issues :-(

Would love to have some tips on this. I've deleted any entry of "Creative" on regedit, and rebooted, reinstalled the CPW7Drivers from proaudiosoft. Still not detecting Prodikeys though. Any other way to clear the system of old driver traces?
I need to start music projects, and gotta have my beloved Prodikeys up and running. It is such a convenient device, as many of us here knows!

proaudiosoft.com is running a scam. They have obviously not tested out the drivers properly. They only work about half the time. They provide no tech support and when I posted on the forum requesting help they deleted my message after a day with no reply.
I'm just going to upload their drivers on rapidshare and hand them out for free. Save everyone wasting their money.

I have Finale 2007 and just purchased a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7. I have installed Finale and have installed my prodikey keyboard (just like I had done on my previous CPU) however, there is no "MIDI In" choice for me to choose in Finale. It only says (none). I went to proaudiosoft and downloaded the driver that is supposed to make this work but, I cannot seem to figure it out. Finale still shows "none" as the only choice for MIDI In. Help. :-)

Its funny, but the only people I have heard complaining about the proaudiosoft.com prodikeys drivers are the very small few who seem to have chipset interference issues. The real deal is No one has heard all the 1,000's of happy prodikeys owners who like me have rejoiced over these drivers. I have them installed on three out of four machines with zero issues. And I personally have had many clients of mine now download them for their machines. I have nothing buit respect for the people at proaudiosoft.com, God bless them. And dont worry, if you obtain these drivers illegally, I hear there is a nice little easter egg for you, dont count on any luck with piracy, ironic such idiotic talk at a microsoft forum....
I have spoken with the Proaudiosoft representative today(May 22nd 2010) and was informed that 64Xbit drivers for the Prodikeys are currently in development but have not been officially finished or released. They are to be completed in the weeks to come and will be available through Proaudiosoft.com . Brian Gill is correct, for several folks the drivers with work in the 64Bit OS, but this is due to to astounding compatibility with Windows 7 being able to use 32 bit drivers in a 64 bit format. The actually 64 bit drivers are not done , but when they are , I imagine every single person on windows 7 will be singing the same praise as brian.
That all being said, The drivers don't work for me yet either, And it is in fact difficult to get assistance on the Proaudiosoft Forums (all 3 of my threads asking for help were deleted or unapproved for viewing) So the situation can be very frustrating for us whom wanted help but were not receiving it. I had to email the site director directly to get the assistance asked for.
My suggestion is just Wait a few more weeks for them to have the 64bit drivers produced, I will Post back on this thread and several other forums when they are , then we can all live with prodikeys in peace.
