Creative prodikeys driver for 64 bt

I was very upset like some of you, I have had drivers from there for two freaken weeks, no dang go. just today I updated my system bios, windows 7 components, and my motherboards chipset drivers. WOO HOO, SHE'S A WORKIN NOW BOYS!!! I think the chipset driver update is what go her. PRODIKEYS ROCKIN AGAIN. F'ING EH! I just wanted to convey also that I had talked to the site owner(s) proaudiosoft.com , and that any driver upgrades are free for life, yeah! win win. L8rz

DUDE, Windows cannot use 32bit drivers in a 64 bit format, lmao, a bit impossible: Do a little research before you type maybe?

Anyway, just wanted to input that I got the drivers from proaudiosoft.com , they Installed without a hitch on my windows 64bit windows 7 ultimate HP dc7700, also I Installed it on a Toshiba L455-s5009 lappy, no issue there either. Monies well spent, would recommend, and I would do it 1000 times over if needed, thats if I had 8 grand laying around, lol! Seriously, like one person said, your always gonna hear the few moaning, all (most) of the thousands of happy peeps that are good to go are off these forums, lol. I just wanted to come back and give my input too, not fair all you usually see is negatives. Anyway, good luck to all.

I have to say, me and anyone I know has had nothing but success with these drivers, I have only heard good things about these guys. I have had a very good experience and couldnt be happier. I would shell out $8.00 anyday than have to buy a new keyboard. Prodikeys has been used in many of my productions. creative are the real bad guys here, not very cool that we all support their product loyally, and they do nothing in return. Its a real sad day when a company cant be loyal to their loyal customers, its all about the all mighty dollar folks. Instead of spending a few quid on a programmer to rewrite the drivers for us (like an upstanding company would), they worry more about how much money they can squeeze in their corperate pockets.

Can someone tell me why they fail to relize that in the long run they are going to lose more money by not getting return sales on future products because of an abandonment scare? Can someone tell me why they dont realize that loyal companies with a good product keep a loyal following?

If a mere blue collar like me can figure this out, why cant one of the white shirts, are they living on another planet than the rest of us?

What a great product, with a life that was extigushed way too early. Yeah, I wish the company I purchased from stood behind me like I did them, but they did not, so I am darn grateful for finding proaudiosoft.com, they have been nothing but extremely polite, and Scratch is a bit wrong, their drivers do have 64 bit support, I have heard of some (few) people having issue, but only because of certain chipsets. Anywho, windows 7 is good, but not good enough to let a 32 bit driver work on a 64 bit system, this is simply impossible to the laws of programming. 32 bit and 64 bit are 2 entirely different animals, and there unfortunatly is no conversion process for that. Thats why you dont, and will never see a conversion program, it is just virtually impossible. Thanks for everyone's input, interesting readings to say the least.

I have spoken with the Proaudiosoft representative today(May 22nd 2010) and was informed that 64Xbit drivers for the Prodikeys are currently in development but have not been officially finished or released. They are to be completed in the weeks to come and will be available through Proaudiosoft.com . Brian Gill is correct, for several folks the drivers with work in the 64Bit OS, but this is due to to astounding compatibility with Windows 7 being able to use 32 bit drivers in a 64 bit format. The actually 64 bit drivers are not done , but when they are , I imagine every single person on windows 7 will be singing the same praise as brian.

That all being said, The drivers don't work for me yet either, And it is in fact difficult to get assistance on the Proaudiosoft Forums (all 3 of my threads asking for help were deleted or unapproved for viewing) So the situation can be very frustrating for us whom wanted help but were not receiving it. I had to email the site director directly to get the assistance asked for.

My suggestion is just Wait a few more weeks for them to have the 64bit drivers produced, I will Post back on this thread and several other forums when they are , then we can all live with prodikeys in peace.

Its funny, but the only people I have heard complaining about the proaudiosoft.com prodikeys drivers are the very small few who seem to have chipset interference issues. The real deal is No one has heard all the 1,000's of happy prodikeys owners who like me have rejoiced over these drivers. I have them installed on three out of four machines with zero issues. And I personally have had many clients of mine now download them for their machines. I have nothing buit respect for the people at proaudiosoft.com, God bless them. And dont worry, if you obtain these drivers illegally, I hear there is a nice little easter egg for you, dont count on any luck with piracy, ironic such idiotic talk at a microsoft forum....
