Creative prodikeys driver for 64 bt

Hi, Creative have a keyboard which has a MIDI keyboard build in under the wristrest. Great idea but Creative can't be bothered to release driveers for Windows 7. The Vista drivers work for 32 bit Windows 7 but it seems impossible to get 64 bit Windows 7 to recognise the MIDI keyboard. I've installed the virtual XP on my machine but how can I get the drivers to install under the virtual XP (I assume it's in 32 bit mode) with out the 64 bit Windows 7 interfering with it ?

I'm asking here because Creative just refuse to discuss 64 bit issues :-(

    How is it that you install this driver?

    I have bought the driver and I changed the compatibility to Vista and it still does not work.  How does one install this driver.  Thanks

    i just got it.. doesnt work for 64 bit.. hate to use 32-bit just for this ..

    Can I install the tools on the Creative Labs CD and just uncheck 'drivers' ? Or should I avoid the CD"

    Just wanted to step in here and contribute, I upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit and downloaded the proaudiosoft drivers, did not work. However I reinstalled the OS at 32bit (mainly to use my vst's) and the drivers and Prodikeys now work perfectly. I suspect a 64bit system might be incompatible......

    I own a computer shop and have many customers that use Midi/Audio recording software. Several (including myself) have prodikeys as their main keyboard. In every instance the drivers have worked fine for me. The small few who complain are just ignorant and dont remove the old drivers properly, and / or install the new one's improperly. Always someone complaining about something when it comes to software/hardware. I will say, i am a computer tech, and the software has worked great for me in over 10 cases. Like someone else said, whining is always loader than praise. Me personally, am very very happy with the solution......
