How to run an executable internally along with other background processes in the system during the startup?

I have an executable file and i want it to run continuously with other system processes in the background.

Can u tell me how to do that?

    It can be any project.

    Actually i have to submit the synopsis this saturday and we can start with the project and we have to complete it before december.

    And the implementation of the project should be done after that.

    I am not asking you to help me in doing the entire project and i know its very difficult.

    Just give me an idea what project i can do..

    Let it be c or c++ or Java etc.,.

    He said that we can do any project based on any field of our choice like networking,image processing, OS etc.,.

    He will nto at all help.

    He is actually the head of our department and nobody likes him.

    He will be troubling us always like this s can u suggest me something about any project plz?
