Transceiver 2.4 Ghz Replacement

This is helpful but not for me... There seems to be no such button on the Sculpt kit elements... I don't see any either on any element of the 5000 set (kbd+mouse).

I assume that these need a radio transceiver and you have bluetooth models.

I got now 5 Microsoft mouse (and only 4 working transceivers), tried each and every combination.

Without knowing your exact model, I can't know for certain what your results will be, but for myself I have been able to pair different receivers to different Microsoft Mice/Keyboards. The way I have done this is  to hold down the little pairing button on the keyboard or mouse at the same time you hold it down on the receiver. Give it a little time, and then let go and it should be paired, or at least that is how it has worked for me.

Arrrgh... Got the same problem and made a very bad mistake : buying another mouse after breaking the transceiver of my kit (mouse+keyboard+numeric pad).

When Microsoft says that each transceiver is unique, they mean unique.

I assumed that buying another mouse, hence another Microsoft transceiver, the previous mouse would function (as well as the keyboard and pad).

Nope. This represents quite a bit of money.

I presume that to have a single encoding for each and every mouse is meant to restrict interferences by hackers (not at all sure of that).

I also presume that if you break something (on the pad, the keyboard, the mouse), you cannot buy any replacement. This should be written in bold on the package.

I cannot understand why the European Community accepts that such a product can be sold like this, without a warning, within it's country members.
