Cannot play games Error "cannot connect to server"

I have been trying play the price is right game says server not connected what to do

This is very common error for me.  I expect the MS support team is merely reading from a script to ask as many irrelevant questions possible to divert from the real problem ...

Over time, I have found that on any given day, I can connect to the game server and all is well.  Then, for no reason, I cannot.  I doubt there is anything that is on the client side.  More than likely ... this is my opinion ... Microsoft does not place a very high priority on keeping the game server(s) up and running.  This is not a revenue agent.  Correspondingly, I doubt the Microsoft places a high priority on support personnel to troubleshoot the problem.  Hence, the silly questions about

• what version of OS are you running
• do you use IE (really stupid since the browser has nothing to do with playing games
• I saw where one support person asked if you got the error trying to play an online game ... obviously that person left their cerebrum at home. Why else would you get the error??
• They gave a link to MS support document ... that one merely gives you hints on how to ask questions.  I expect that reading will provide great insight into the game server problem

Bottom line, wait it out.  More than likely over the next few days someone who monitors the game server will tire of playing with him self and re-boot it.  Or whatever they do.  Then the server will be accessible again until the next time it has a problem.

I totally agree. I have had this happen in the past a number of times and in a few days it comes back to normal. Very frustrating when you want to play NOW. I thought by contacting Microsoft they could reboot their system which was not the case.

the only game i can not access is microsoft bingo keeps coming up with the message "server connection error"

I have the same problem with trying to access Microsoft Bingo... I also get the same message over and over again every time I try to connect, "server connection error, try again!" Please fix as soon as possible.. all other games open, this Is the only Microsoft game that gives and error message for connecting. I am running Microsoft 10 on my pc.
