need to reinstall exetender player

hi i deleted chronical dreams from free ride games and the exetender player by mistake cause it was downloaded the same date as the game i didnt think i needed the player anymore thought it was part of the game. everytime i turn on my gateway laptop when it lods i get this box stateing... Invalid or missing resource files in the installation directory. Please reinstall Extender Player. i try reinstalling the game but it still gives me the box Exeteder fatal error what can i do i cant even delete the game again cuase its missing specified file cant be found... can any one help please i will appreciate it thank you in advance have a good day

Thank you for posting.

You can refer to your game provider and how you properly uninstall their program. You can also try using “System Restore” and see if you can go back to a point before you installed your game. 

I would suggest that you back up your system first before making any other changes to your system. Just for future reference

    I too have this problem and its doing my head in, will try what has been suggested and let you know whether it works or not.

    while I'm on I am  struggling to open my zip folders have downloaded the win? what ever the program is called and I still carnt open them. anyone can help would be a very happy bunny. thanks  Nanric

    Has anyone figured out what to do to fix the extender file when it says to reinstall extender?  I am not sure what is meant by computer tec site.  Help I am pulling my hair out.  Its telling me it is a fatal error.

    it is not built into windows, so there for it is not needed.

    the reason it is still popping up is because it is still in the startup after you uninstall it, so you have to delete it from the start up.

    two ways you can do this.

    1. just uncheck it in the startup

    a. click start then click run or in the searchbox type "msconfig"

    b. click the startup tab at the top.

    c. uncheck the box for "GPlayer"

    1. delete the startup registry for it
