Change the colour of the taskbar in windows 7?

i had the same problem and i just  update intels chipset  and colours fixed also the pc works better than ever after the updating of chipset !

Also i had read that update of  graphic gard can fix you the problem  with  taskbar's colour  but i had updated drivers on my Graphic card and i still got this problem ,but try it if it dint fix with intels chipset update !

1. Go to your desktop.
2. Right click and empty space on your desktop.
3. Scroll down and click properties.
4. Hit appearance in the dialog box that appears.
5. Select the active title bar.
6. Choose a color for your taskbar. Click the apply button. You can continue to choose colors and click apply many times to see how your taskbar appears.
7. Click OK when you are happy with the color.

hey my computer broke recently, it came back with windows professional, but now i can't change the color of the taskbar and windows. I remember before i would go to personalization on the windows 7 home version, but on professional, a completely ne window pops up when i click "change window color" do you know how to fix this?
