i want to change the colour of the taskbar in windows 7 but how do i do it?

start > control panel > personalization > then ... window color .

    Thank you soooo....much.  I personally have a Windows 8 on my laptop but my God-Daughter is soon to be 7 and got a computer for xmas with windows 7. i had no idea how to put a pink taskbar on it until now...thanx to u... u made her day... =0)

    have managed to change colours every where but the task bar at the moment it's a very light blue

    1. You can change the color of your window frames, the Start menu, and the task-bar. Open Personalize by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalize, and then clicking Personalize. Under Window Color and Appearance, click the coloryou want, and then click OK.
