start > control panel > personalization > then ... window color .

    hii i've 32 bit windows 7 home basic operating system and i want to change taskbar colour but i can't find personalization in control panel.. please tell how to change

    your computer is probly set to 16-bit , set it to 32-bit resolution and then try 

    I tried it also .. its not working .. I have WINDOWS 7 installed as well.

    This changes the window color, not the taskbar color.
