click start button and type "msconfig" and hit enter. When open goto startup tab and un-tick the program with name of "windows live" or "iexplore.exe" and hit apply and close. Hope it will help!

    Hello AlyceCatherman,

I know you replied back to Vanshaj Daga's comment and advised it was not working.  However did you try the other two options listed?  How long have you been having this issue?  Did you install any new software or programs?

    Please let us know status.

    Hey LHN 12345,

A suggestion around that would be to totally uninstall it and then re-install it. I pulled the direct link to re-install itright hereif you would like to try it. To uninstall it completely, just go Start-> Control Panel->  Programs-> Uninstall a Program-> Then select Microsoft Live Essentials.

Hope this helped, let me know your status after you try this!
