click start button and type "msconfig" and hit enter. When open goto startup tab and un-tick the program with name of "windows live" or "iexplore.exe" and hit apply and close. Hope it will help!

I have Windiws Essentials 2012, and have run the repair in windows control panel. I have it on delayed start, so the error is intermittent now, but still occurs regularly.
