click start button and type "msconfig" and hit enter. When open goto startup tab and un-tick the program with name of "windows live" or "iexplore.exe" and hit apply and close. Hope it will help!

I have the same startup error. I tried the msconfig and there is no program with the title windows live in the list.

Windows 7

click start button and type "msconfig" and hit enter. When open goto services tab and un-check the program with name of "windows live ID Sign -in Assistant" and hit apply and close.
