click start button and type "msconfig" and hit enter. When open goto startup tab and un-tick the program with name of "windows live" or "iexplore.exe" and hit apply and close. Hope it will help!

2017-04-12T05:38:57+00:00 This worked (and thanks for the advice), but it can be dangerous to delete an executable unless you are sure that it does nothing useful. It's safer to change the extension of the filename to your initials (or some other identifier), so that you can change the file back to an .EXE if necessary.
