Problem connecting to the Windows Error Reporting service

Whenever I try to check for solutions in the action center of Windows 7, I get the following error message: Problem connecting to the Windows Error Reporting service. Some of the reports could not be uploaded to the Windows Error Reporting service. Please try again later.

This issue started appearing a few days ago, even though I didn't make any changes in my computer. I don't have any firewall (except for the default Windows firewall) and all my other programs work just fine on the Internet.

Any ideas what might cause the issue?

Problem solved.

I actually had to purge all the existing reports using the Disk Cleanup utility.

    NONE of these solutions have helped.  I am willing to allow remote access to any Microsoft employee willing to remotely find and fix this problem.

    I got the blue screen of death several times. When I restart my computer and check for solutions, I keep getting the same message "Problem connecting to the Windows Error Reporting service. Some of the reports could not be uploaded to the Windows Error Reporting service. Please try again later."

    Please help fix the blue screen of death AND the problem connecting to the Windows Error reporting service.   I believe if the error log was successfully uploaded, Microsoft would then be able to provide a solution to the blue screen.

    I have the same problem is just useless if you try to report a problem if you cant connect to the service, and is even more disappointing that microsoft cant fix it.

    How they spect to resolve the OS problems if there is no way to report the problems.

    I also keep having blue screens i cant work any more with my laptop.

    If someone have a way to resolve this i will really appreciate it

    Did this ever get solved? Because my Windows 7 Home still does this, even after a format and reinstall. But I have no other connectivity issues.

    I think ERROR REPORTING is a poorly designed system and it needs to be patched. I hope now that Windows 8 is out they won't just IGNORE it.
