Problem connecting to the Windows Error Reporting service

Whenever I try to check for solutions in the action center of Windows 7, I get the following error message: Problem connecting to the Windows Error Reporting service. Some of the reports could not be uploaded to the Windows Error Reporting service. Please try again later.

This issue started appearing a few days ago, even though I didn't make any changes in my computer. I don't have any firewall (except for the default Windows firewall) and all my other programs work just fine on the Internet.

Any ideas what might cause the issue?

Problem solved.

I actually had to purge all the existing reports using the Disk Cleanup utility.

    Trying to fix ATI Graphics problem > I have received over 35 messages witha "Solution" . Every time I attempt to run the solution I get a message stating that

    "Your computer was unable to download the solution at this time.Check to make sure your computer is connected to the internet and then try to download the solution at a later time"

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as the computer crashes frequently.

    And here it is, just about 6 years later and still this remains a problem. I've had over 30 problem reports I've been trying to upload for more than 3 months. All I EVER get is "Problem uploading to the Windows Error Reporting service."

    For the sate of peak MICROSOFT - GET YOUR BLOODY ACT TOGETHER!

    As a former device driver author I can state unequivocally that it is UP TO THE DRIVER AUTHOR to get their DRIVERS to work with the OS! Not the other way around people. MS can't make people write proper code but they CAN VET the drivers and they DO!  But here again, there is nothing to stop the device driver author from releasing uncertified drivers into the wild. Instead it's up to YOU the consumer to force the device driver author to have his work vetted and released through the proper channels at MS!

    Fixed

    I hardly found solution for my self and I'm using Windows 8.

    In services check:

    1. Check if Windows Error Reporting Service is working (Automatic)

    2)Check if Network Access Protection Agent is working (Automatic)

    If not then click start and change to automatic.

    I did them and it started.

    After trying this on a netbook that is running Windows 7 Home Premium and throwing the same error message, the error message is still being thrown, but now the Windows Error Reporting Service seems to actually attempt to connect, whereas before it threw the error message almost immediately.
