Problem connecting to the Windows Error Reporting service

Whenever I try to check for solutions in the action center of Windows 7, I get the following error message: Problem connecting to the Windows Error Reporting service. Some of the reports could not be uploaded to the Windows Error Reporting service. Please try again later.

This issue started appearing a few days ago, even though I didn't make any changes in my computer. I don't have any firewall (except for the default Windows firewall) and all my other programs work just fine on the Internet.

Any ideas what might cause the issue?

Problem solved.

I actually had to purge all the existing reports using the Disk Cleanup utility.

    I have had the same problem with error reporting on Windows 7 as described by everyone else above.

    Anyone who has to go through all that just so the computer can perform an action it was designed by Microsoft to do automatically had better be receiving a check from Microsoft.

    I have tried everything Microsoft has said to try and I still have the same problem. Started a new question on this BIG PROBLEM.

    Fixed

    I hardly found solution for my self and I'm using Windows 8.

    In services check:

    1. Check if Windows Error Reporting Service is working (Automatic)

    2)Check if Network Access Protection Agent is working (Automatic)

    If not then click start and change to automatic.

    I did them and it started.

    Good luck, and I hope it worked.

    If it is not working then there is program called tweeking.com system repair. This program fixes a lot of windows problems including services. It may help.
