The Windows Update tool is broken in Windows 7. It fails with an error after sitting there with 0% of 0 updates completed.
Tried going into the Troubleshooter>>fix Windows Update but that is broken too. It just sits there for a whole day and does nothing. Tried to find the Microsoft fix it tool and from the material I've read, it is no longer supported so Microsoft pulled it off their website. Which sux big time. None of the links work below. Doing that doesn't help those of us that still operate on Windows 7 and don't want to upgrade to Windows 10 because of all the issues in a new OS.
I hate that I am dependent on using Microsoft cause their ability to service customers is terrible.
Make the links work again. the tool should remain available indefinitely.
