Original Title:  I want to download the complete mr fix it tool, but I can not find the location to do this.

I have downloaded this to my windows ep computer, but I can not find the donload when I am on my windows 7 computer.

    The download at go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9775982 is a download file for a larger 40MB download, a set of diagnostics tools with a launcher file called Launch Fix it.exethat has a file date of 24th April 2015.  This date seems to match when the Microsoft Fixit Solution Center** stopped being available so I think this file will have been drifting out of date since then. 

    [** this was the original site hosting all their Fixit tools such as Diagnose and repair Windows File and Folder Problems automatically - there were a hundred or more tools available there.]

    When Microsoft do publish a solution nowadays, it is normally in a Knowledge base article [a KB].  These do show signs of being updated [or replaced] as Windows updates are released.  There is no general index of KBs so, if you are looking for solutions to problems, you need to search Microsoft support each time.
