network printer shows offline

In windows vista my cable network printer shows offline now. Everything else is fine i can still go onto the internet etc. ??

right click on (Network)Printer , choose Properties , go to Ports tab, choose Configure Port , then un-check SNMP Status Enable option,

I had same problem and this solution solved for me, hope this will help for u.

    Some times its quiet difficult to find out the problem. Trouble shooting takes time. It is due to one off the following reasons. 

    Network cable unplug

    Thanks Lionking67 that did the trick for me. I disable firewall settings and it started working. The strange this is if i enable the firewall straight away it keeps working. The SNMP fix didnt do anything for me.
