How do you delete items in your "favorites" list?

I have a "favorites" listed on my toolbar, but there are several items in it that I would like to delete.  But ... I don't know how to.  Would someone please tell me how, in a language an elderly, non computer savy, person could understand?  Thank you kindly!

Right-click any item, and a 'Delete' option should be near the bottom of the menu that appears.

Another method you may try:

1)  Click on "Favorites" (in the upper tool bar)

2)  Select "Organize Favorites"

3)  A small window will open where all of your

    favorites are listed. 

    Click on the item to be removed to highlight it,

    then Click on the Delete button at the bottom.

4)  The Organize Favorites window will remain open

     to allow more items to be deleted.

    Hi, Shawn.

    Thank you for the confirmatory remark indicating an "obvious" (to Windows OS users) method of deleting links, files, and folders. However, with the advent of Windows 10 I find that what is true one day is not necessarily carried over to the next. Specifically, originally, this method of deleting items worked but then it did not. I can't even customize my Desktop Taskbar this way anymore. After struggling with these features I found that the method is still TRUE but I needed to use an external mouse to effectuate the changes rather than to use the built in mouse, keystrokes, or function keys! Even so, from one day to the next there is a resurgence of abilities and the old way of doing things is reintroduced and becomes as effective as it was formerly. It is nice that people such as you, an MVP, affirm that the method to accomplish what problems a user is having can easily be resolved using the standard Windows method of resolution.
