I have a Konica Minolta PagePro 1350W laser printer that works quite well, I just updgraded to Windows7 from XP but my printer doesn't work anymore. It appears as PP1350W in the "Devices and Printers" window as an unspecified device. I tried installing the Vista Drivers for the Page Pro 1400W and now that printer appears in under "printers and Faxes", however the PP1350W is still listed as an unspecified device and printing to the 1400W does nothing. What's worse is not I can't even remove the 1400W no matter how many times I tell it to remove, it just automatically pops up again. Is there a generic driver out there for the PagePro 1350W that will work in Windows7 so I can at least have basic printing functionality?

From what i see in the Compatibility Center there are several versions of the PagePro printer that are compatible but the 1350 is not listed. The 1100 and 1400 are listed but not the 1350. I would check with Konica to see if they have updated drivers for your specific model or see if the drivers for one of the other models can work with your printer.

Not sure if this will or will not help anyone. However the 1350W in the UK is not discontinued and Windows 7 x64bit drivers along with the x32 bit drivers are available from the following website.

omg....u too have the 1250 scanner?? so do i. lol. it's collecting dust and every now and then I connect to an old XP laptop.
*EDIT* It works.....but with a caveat. It's unstable. I keep on getting a prompt every now and then saying the device is not connected like it was without power.

It's an older model but not ancient. The problem lies with Konica and how they do not want to invest any time or resources into updating their drivers to work with Windows 7. Personally, I am not a fan of Samsung. Their hw is great but their sw sucks.
BTW, I got my 1350W to work with Win 7 x64 XP mode. See several pages back where I commented on this (success) for those who want to try. Dont ask me to tell u what drivers I used because it was a while ago. It was a very frustrating process.
Just to add to the litany of failure, I can't find any way on god's green earth to use the 1350W with Win 7, 64 bit Pro. Maybe it can work with 32 bit Win 7, but NO way with 64 bit. In addition to trying it with the Vista drivers, I installed Konica Minolta's Universal Print Driver only to discover it wasn't universal enough for the 1350W.
I've just ordered a Samsung mono printer which does duplex, prints faster and has a higher duty cycle, plus a few other neat features. The 1350W was a great product but life goes on. With the thousands of printer models out there, not all of them will be supported on newer OSes.
