I have a Konica Minolta PagePro 1350W laser printer that works quite well, I just updgraded to Windows7 from XP but my printer doesn't work anymore. It appears as PP1350W in the "Devices and Printers" window as an unspecified device. I tried installing the Vista Drivers for the Page Pro 1400W and now that printer appears in under "printers and Faxes", however the PP1350W is still listed as an unspecified device and printing to the 1400W does nothing. What's worse is not I can't even remove the 1400W no matter how many times I tell it to remove, it just automatically pops up again. Is there a generic driver out there for the PagePro 1350W that will work in Windows7 so I can at least have basic printing functionality?

From what i see in the Compatibility Center there are several versions of the PagePro printer that are compatible but the 1350 is not listed. The 1100 and 1400 are listed but not the 1350. I would check with Konica to see if they have updated drivers for your specific model or see if the drivers for one of the other models can work with your printer.

First I want to say that I HATE microsoft in all its versions, it just gets worse and more complicated, I don't care for Mac OS either. Wish the Japanese would write software then it would at least work without requiring being a rocket scientist to figure it out.
I have the same printer and can't get it to work on 7 (64 bit).
I installed the drivers several times, I see the printer icon and the choices but when I try to print, it will not print and I see an error displayed where "Ready" used to be.
I un-installed the drivers and tried again with the same results. Tried it off the disc that came with the printer, same thing.
Is there any practical solution or does everything has to become obsolete and thrown out every time Microsoft decides to come up with yet another useless OS system ?
Minolta now has the 64B Win7 drivers available for download.
