I have a Konica Minolta PagePro 1350W laser printer that works quite well, I just updgraded to Windows7 from XP but my printer doesn't work anymore. It appears as PP1350W in the "Devices and Printers" window as an unspecified device. I tried installing the Vista Drivers for the Page Pro 1400W and now that printer appears in under "printers and Faxes", however the PP1350W is still listed as an unspecified device and printing to the 1400W does nothing. What's worse is not I can't even remove the 1400W no matter how many times I tell it to remove, it just automatically pops up again. Is there a generic driver out there for the PagePro 1350W that will work in Windows7 so I can at least have basic printing functionality?

From what i see in the Compatibility Center there are several versions of the PagePro printer that are compatible but the 1350 is not listed. The 1100 and 1400 are listed but not the 1350. I would check with Konica to see if they have updated drivers for your specific model or see if the drivers for one of the other models can work with your printer.

It loaded easily, and worked perfectly.
Try running msconfig and remove the check mark next to the Minolta-Konica program (last tab , programs which load at startup). You should be able to print but the MinoltaKonica utility will not load at startup. This should kill that prompt that keeps telling you the device is not ready or low on paper or tuner,
I've reinstalled with Windows 7 as (X32 bit) because I have alot of old legacy hardware that works and is missing x64bit drivers...I didnt want to throw away perfectly good equipment. If your running upto 4GB of ram it might be the way too go.

Not sure if this will or will not help anyone. However the 1350W in the UK is not discontinued and Windows 7 x64bit drivers along with the x32 bit drivers are available from the following website.

omg....u too have the 1250 scanner?? so do i. lol. it's collecting dust and every now and then I connect to an old XP laptop.
*EDIT* It works.....but with a caveat. It's unstable. I keep on getting a prompt every now and then saying the device is not connected like it was without power.
