Planning on updating office computer. Our Tech doesn't think our lotus will run on the new Windows 7 64 bit. Need to confirm.

2013-02-06T22:37:16+00:00 I'm glad I came across these posts. I too was able to get Lotus SS 97 up and running on Windows 8 by going into the files on the CD and accessing the startup application. Now if I could just get my HP 5L LaserJet printer to work with Win 8...

2013-01-08T16:11:11+00:00 I installed my 3 copies of Smart Suite Millenium on 3 W8 Pro 64-bit machines and it works fine. I only installed WordPro and ran the Setup.EXE file from the Lotus directory on the CD as an administrator by right clicking the setup.exe file and selecting "run as an administrator".

2012-12-09T05:40:08+00:00 This is to inform anyone reading this site that still wold like to use Lotus Smart Suite that it will run on all Platforms. We understand this is an old posting but if anyone is reading this you should know we install Lotus Smart Suite version 9.8 on Server 2003, Server 2008 and Server 2008R2 32 or 64 BIT systems. We also run this version using Terminal Server on these Server Platforms. Do not use atorun with the install menu of Auto Run. Select to open the disk so you can browse into the CD. You can also copy the content of the CD to a thumb drive or hard drive and run it from there. We do this all the time, just run Setup.exe found in the ROOT of the CD or you can run the Lotus SmartSuite - English.MSI.

2012-10-15T23:05:37+00:00 I was unable to install Lotus Smart Swite 9.8.1 on Windows 7 Professional. Says "error accessing registry", then "unexpected error". I hope IBM has a fix for this.
I had the same problem,but after reading the other posts, I just typed: D:/setup.exe in the command line and even though those other messages appeared, it went ahead and installed! Try it!
