will Lotus SmartSuite run on Windows 7?

Planning on updating office computer. Our Tech doesn't think our lotus will run on the new Windows 7 64 bit. Need to confirm.

IBM is marketing Lotus now, so it's up to them. http://www-01.ibm.com/software/lotus/products/smartsuite/

If it works on Vista, it's very likely to work on Win7.

I have ver 9.7 - 32 bit running on Vista But it will not run on 64 bit Windows 7

I have installed Lotus SmartSuite 9.8 on a Toshiba installed with Windows7 - 32bit OS by running the setup.exe which was on the installation CD. Funnily, all the applications run successfully BUT only if the installation disc is in the drive at the time. If it isn't, a 'Insert Disk' window pops up with the message "Please insert a disc into DVD RW Drive (D):." Has anyone got any ideas on how to address this issue apart from copying the disc to the Hard drive and re-installing the software?

dear mr rudge. i have a dell 64 BIT notebook, and was able to install smartsuite 9.8. i read the ibm disclosure re proper functionality, but i'm not sure in what way. both 1-2-3 and approach work fine. b-t-w the program loads as a 32Bit program.

I installed (from setup.exe) Lotus123 and Approach (9.8) on a computer with Windows 7 64bit. Both applications installed and are running with no problems for the last 3 weeks.
