will Lotus SmartSuite run on Windows 7?

Planning on updating office computer. Our Tech doesn't think our lotus will run on the new Windows 7 64 bit. Need to confirm.

IBM is marketing Lotus now, so it's up to them. http://www-01.ibm.com/software/lotus/products/smartsuite/

If it works on Vista, it's very likely to work on Win7.

I got the same errors from autorun. Escape out and follow the advise of the others. i.e. x:\run\setup.exe Worked for me.

Encouraged by some of these posts, I tried lots of things short of running in XP mode to install SmartSuite both Release 3 and Millenium ver 9.8 and ver on 64 bit Win 7 Pro machine last June (2011). Nothing worked.

Decided to try again after focusing elsewhere for a few months. Ver 9.8 installed right away from x:\run\setup.exe as indicated above. Windows must automatically reset screen colors to basic but all seems to be in working order. I still have some important files in lotus that I'd rather not have to recreate. I'm very happy.

Can't explain why it worked this time. Just thought I'd log my experience as a way of encouragement for others.
