I've already disabled Copilot in the sidebar. I've toggled off "Chat response on result page" in the search settings. I want the Copilot AI disabled from the search result page, preventing automatic chatboxes on searches, and not activating when scrolling to the top of the results page.

Thank you. Finally some truth!
It has changed in edge - go to settings using the ... icon in top right corner. Then select Settings and in the left hand side bar select Copilot and Sidebar. Then in App and Notification Settings open the Copilot settings and deactivate as you require.
Keep doing this until your fingers bleed and you are left sobbing hopelessly at your desk while Copilot continues to function and invade every facet of your MS apps and software experience.
It doesnt work, all the other approaches don't work inc reg key edit. Copilot implementation in Office 365 is also intrusive and full of bugs.
Sorry I couldnt be much help - but at least you now know where the Copilot settings are
YES! It works! Thank you.
AND I now know how to change group policies when I get some frustrating message from Microsoft limiting me.
