I've already disabled Copilot in the sidebar. I've toggled off "Chat response on result page" in the search settings. I want the Copilot AI disabled from the search result page, preventing automatic chatboxes on searches, and not activating when scrolling to the top of the results page.

I am no computer novice but, like everyone one else, I tried everything to rid myself of the intrusive Copilot pest and THIS did the trick..
In the past I tried launching the gpedit **** with the .msi suffix with zero luck but it launched just fine using only gpedit.
Thank you!
Hello, I still have windows 10 on my main computer. I had to type into the search bar App Specific Settings. My Copilot settings are already turned off. It is still available for me to open it, but I don't plan on doing that. Hope this helps.
On every new tab copilot still has an active icon to open copilot. I have done every procedure to remove this annoying app including deleting every occurrence of it in my registry, there are some entries that will not permit me to delete them. Microsoft should never install any new apps or software without express permission from users, they should give the users an option to not install a certain new app or software.
this worked for me.
