Managing tabs, address bar, and search settings in Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I've already disabled Copilot in the sidebar. I've toggled off "Chat response on result page" in the search settings. I want the Copilot AI disabled from the search result page, preventing automatic chatboxes on searches, and not activating when scrolling to the top of the results page.

Yes. But when I tell you how, it will not be long before Microsoft does something about it.
Run PowerShell in Admin mode the run the below command.
Get-AppxPackage *Copilot* | Remove-AppxPackage
Reboot.
You will probably have to do this after each set of patches.
This is completely worthless and ineffective.
COPILOT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO REMOVE IT..
DESIGNED BY AN IDIOT.
I've tried everything.
The dam thing is off yet still it shows up results on the dam page - pissed off with Edge - time to delete and find a new browser.🤬

They've gone from providing computing tools we need/want to mandating stuff we don't use/don't want.
Eventually they may start charging us to remove the garbage - a bit like PrimeFlix now charging to remove adverts - but for now they are content to flex their dominance over our lifestyle without a damn about consumer choice.
i tried several times and the side bar is still there.
