I've already disabled Copilot in the sidebar. I've toggled off "Chat response on result page" in the search settings. I want the Copilot AI disabled from the search result page, preventing automatic chatboxes on searches, and not activating when scrolling to the top of the results page.

It doesn't work to remove from Edge, just your computer.
Why Microsoft wants you to go through these useless procedures to remove copilot when they don't want you to do that is beyond me. all of my settings are turned off for copilot and it still appears when I search.
The problem is all other search engines have something like it now
Yes. All are in the AI race. Unfortunately NOT ONE OF THOSE FORCING THIS ON USERS actually has a truly functioning AI capability. They all jumped the gun and now false and incomplete information is being treated as truth. It’s a mess
