Hello All,

Hope you're doing well,

Recently, I've updated Microsoft Edge Browser and it frequently gets blurred automatically. After some time, It gets back to normal. When I checked this problem on the Internet, It asked me to turn off Hardware Acceleration in my Browser.

I turned off & restarted the browser but I am still facing the same problem. I've attached a screenshot of how it looks. Could anyone help me fix this issue ASAP?

Thank You :)

Regards,

Advaith N Aithal

I'm just here to pile on. This started today for me. Please create a bug ticket for the dev team.

Version 118.0.2088.2 (Official build) dev (64-bit)

    Thanks.

I have the same issue - I'm going to take a guess that it has to do with the Screen Layout feature that lets you drag and drop your apps into a space on the screen. At least - that's what it looks like it's trying to do.

Just wanted to chime in on this, as well. It does appear to be an issue with Edge or an Edge update, specifically. The blurring occurs spontaneously like Edge is taking itself out of "focus" and will only return to normal by tabbing into another program and back into Edge.

Very weird, hoping MS gets a fix out for this ASAP.

I have also started getting this issue, I assume since an Edge update. Only the webpage is blurred, so just the rendered webpage in the Work profile tabs, not the browser window itself or any other part of Windows 11. Interestingly, your screenshot shows a Work profile, which is the Edge windows that blurs for me. I have a Personal profile window open on a second monitor and that one does not get blurred, while the Work profile windows are having webpages blurred. Started happening today and occurs about once every 30-60 minutes and it persists for about 15 seconds then sorts itself out.
Edge Version 117.0.2045.31 (Official build) (64-bit) on Windows 11 Home 22H2 build 22621.2283.

I've found that locking the screen and then unlocking gets rid of the blurring. It's only started happening today.
