Browser getting blurred frequently - Windows 11

Hello All,

Hope you're doing well,

Recently, I've updated Microsoft Edge Browser and it frequently gets blurred automatically. After some time, It gets back to normal. When I checked this problem on the Internet, It asked me to turn off Hardware Acceleration in my Browser.

I turned off & restarted the browser but I am still facing the same problem. I've attached a screenshot of how it looks. Could anyone help me fix this issue ASAP?

Thank You :)

Regards,

Advaith N Aithal

clicking anywhere gets rid of it.

    Hi all.

This issue has been resolved for some time now.

If it persists you have 3x options:

    1. Install the Edge Canary version. Note that this is the most unstable version of Edge.
    2. Ensure the latest Updates of Edge has been installed.
    3. Join the MS Insider Program and choose the Beta program. Note this may lead to some instability of apps but I had no issues to date to be honest.

This is the version I am using (I uninstalled the Canary version) and it has worked seamlessly for more than a month now.

A work-around. In the browser, upper right corner, click the "Enter PDF Full Screen" icon (the double arrow). That fixes is for me every time!

I confirmed that Edge blurs out the viewed content at 30 minutes.

Even if it's local Edge data like edge://edge-dlp-internals/.

The URL address/search bar, tool bar and bookmarks bar do not get fuzzy/blurred out.

For me, clicking anywhere within the fuzzy area un-fuzzies it.

Also, that above policy URL shows that even though we are not using Intune/MDM profile management on the laptops, (using Zscaler instead), msMamDlp is enabled.

    Hi

I have a number of Edge profiles (note I am a Beta tester):

    Canary version:

Version 120.0.2199.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit)

    Personal AND Business account

    No blur

    Beta version:

Version 119.0.2151.44 (Official build) stable app, beta channel (64-bit)

    Business account

    No blur

I cannot comment on the normal non-beta, non-canary version as I do not have those installed on my computer.

My guess is that the normal non-beta, non-canary Edge blur issue should be resolved in the next couple of days.
