Hello All,

Hope you're doing well,

Recently, I've updated Microsoft Edge Browser and it frequently gets blurred automatically. After some time, It gets back to normal. When I checked this problem on the Internet, It asked me to turn off Hardware Acceleration in my Browser.

I turned off & restarted the browser but I am still facing the same problem. I've attached a screenshot of how it looks. Could anyone help me fix this issue ASAP?

Thank You :)

Regards,

Advaith N Aithal

This appears to be a new issue. I'm experiencing the same thing all within this last week, 9/18/23-9/22/23. Is there any answer to this yet?

Go at Settings > System and Performance > Fade sleeping tabs.

    This should solve it.

Fade Sleeping Tabs: Tabs will appear faded when saving memory and CPU to improve performance.

No, this is not right. That should only impact sleeping tabs, not tabs in the foreground. Sleeping tabs unload resources to save memory, completely different.

I should note, This happens in Edge when logged into a corporate work profile that also has a tab in the same window with a Teams instance.
I also have another Teams instance in the desktop version. Recently acquired by another company, we have to monitor two different Teams accounts.

Same issue here - thought it might be a "feature" of Teams blurring your browser in case you were sharing your screen because normally it happened in meetings but just had it happen while Teams was just open and I was typing messages.

I noticed that hitting Alt+Tab twice helps. Of course, only until it happens again. A quick fix but requires little interruption.
