Hello All,

Hope you're doing well,

Recently, I've updated Microsoft Edge Browser and it frequently gets blurred automatically. After some time, It gets back to normal. When I checked this problem on the Internet, It asked me to turn off Hardware Acceleration in my Browser.

I turned off & restarted the browser but I am still facing the same problem. I've attached a screenshot of how it looks. Could anyone help me fix this issue ASAP?

Thank You :)

Regards,

Advaith N Aithal

I posted that update in the post above yours; it's still not fixed but does appear to happen less often.

Blurred twice in last hour, once while I was mid-stream typing that post.

    EDIT:

And it just did again, talk about killing a business workflow.

Unfortunately, it does not. Still happening. This is ABSURD! I was on MS Teams, sharing PowerBI reporting in my browser with executive leadership, and my tabs would start blurring while I was presenting to them. I had to click out of the browser and back in. MS, get this fixed. It didn't start happening until this week. Clearly you brought something BROKEN into the fold.

    Version 117.0.2045.35: September 19, 2023

Fixed various bugs and performance issues.

(Nice transparency on what was changed or fixed)

"Maybe your issue is fixed with this build, even MS programmers don't know."

    Efficiency mode already off

    Fade tabs already off

    Sleep tabs already off

Hardware Acceleration tested on and off no difference.

    Startup boost already off

Nope screen blurred literally while I was typing this...

Go to Settings > System and Performance > and then turn off efficiency mode. Efficiency mode makes your tabs go to sleep or turn inactive after 5 minutes or less and this is causing the problem.

I also have the same issue this week with Edge, and I have to press the icon on the taskbar and press on the tab I'm using to have the screen fixed every time it happens. It just happened recently, and it feels annoying.
