My favourites Bar icons in Windows 11 are not coloured. How can I restore the colour.

Same issue, right after the year in review.

Also yesterday I had that stupid grey screen in New Tab instead of my background, because of that snow flake thing over in the lower right corner of a new start page.

That seems to have been fixed since yesterday, but these transparent icons in the favorites bar are hideous.

It's incredible how this kind of design error can be made. The ideal thing would be to be able to choose 16.7 million colors for the browser folders and nooo, they remove the typical yellow color to make it translucent and look terrible among the colored favicons.

It's still Saturday, hopefully enough people will notice, so that Monday morning MS will assign someone to fix it. My personal guess is that the automated testing of the browser release failed to check this. With luck they will fix the folders and the release testing promptly.

Getting it fixed soon will be helped if Edge users within MS also experience the problem.

If they don't experience it internally, then we might have to wait.

Ask Woody posted the same and a respondent pointed out it's a Chrome issue. Sure enough, my Chrome browser shows the same crude folder icons.
