Managing bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads in Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I would like to restore colour into my Favourite Bar now they are colourless.
Thank you.

I just sent this thread's link to the MS feedback team. Thanks for the tip.
I just updated Edge on a client's laptop to Microsoft Edge
Version 131.0.2903.51 (Official build) (64-bit) after looking at the Edge icons first and they were still in color. Immediately after the update and restart they changed to no color.
This work around did work for me. I have my yellow folders back. The key is launching Edge from the shortcut that is modified with the additional code. In my case I repined that modified shortcut to my task bar.
In Win 10, I had added the switch --disable-features=msFavoritesMonolineFolder to the Edge Target in Properties, but it didn't work until I tried your suggestion to unpin and re-pin the shortcut to the task bar.
However, that routine did not bring the color back in Chrome and Opera. Just reporting, as I primarily use Edge.
Thanks!
Can someone, pretty please, create a workaround or extension to fix this, there are no other web-browsers that use colour favourite folders, and the only reason I went over to Edge was because of folder colour, good old fashion, manilla folder colour.
So sick of these unnecessary changes, move it back to the original colour or at the very least give users the option to edit the folder colour.
P.S. If none of the above can be done, can someone please create a new web-browser and make everything customisable? LOL Please, I am willing to pay to have my folders go back to normal.
