My favourites Bar icons in Windows 11 are not coloured. How can I restore the colour.

I would like to restore colour into my Favourite Bar now they are colourless.

I'm also disappointed with this change; I enjoyed the somewhat retro look of the old folder icons. (That said, I'm much more concerned about losing access to uBlock Origin, which I fear will happen within a few months.)

Same problem happened on my MS Edge few days ago thought was my system settings until I saw this thread. Seems like Microsoft no plan to fix or revert this issue.

Yes, it's totally disgusting that they changed the favorite folder icons from yellow to the ugly black and white thingy. The yellow folders are (or now were?) actually one of the main reasons I'm using Edge. Incompetent wannabe UX "designers" strike again.

Fun fact: No one, not a single user ever asked for this disgusting change.

Yeah, it sucks big time. However, I'm going to move on and not pay any more attention to this nonsense. I've got better things to do than spend time on the color of my favorites' folders. If MS provides a fix, great...if not, it's not the end of the world
