Why is the Bing search engine not working properly with Microsoft Edge?

Oh my goooshness! I've given up on waiting for such things. I used to send feedback all the time and then I realized that for all the good it did, they're all probably going to some spam folder or automated trash system at Microsoft. Because nothing gets addressed. The last time I did that, they finally gave up the ghost on the application I really liked using. It was MS shopping assistant, but it was riddled with glaring bugs and graphic issues. People complained and all we got for our efforts was the usual,

"Thank you for your feedback, we will be looking into the problem.... blah blah blah, your feedback is important to us.... blah blah blah."

I'm with you. You make excellent points. No one at Microsoft responds with any assistance. Occasionally, I would get an email telling me that I do all the things I already told them did not work. Perhaps we should send them a Captcha to see if they are a computer.

It's scary. Microsoft and Apple are now 1 and 2 highest valued companies in the nation. The next three are also tech companies as well. But those two... they are the dominate scenario and technically speaking they would fall under the category of oligopoly. And sadly, these past ten years or so have shown that they are acting like it. At least in the EU, they call them on their **** and have no compunction about dragging their assess into court for anti-trust issues. But here in the States, we've become so corporatist and lenient these past thirty or so years that we are not anything like we were before. I never thought I would live to see the day when the majority of Americans would not just be so complacent about something like this but would actually behave as if these companies and others they adore (literally) not only couldn't but wouldn't dare anything wrong. As if they are real people. But then we live in an era where the social and cultural messaging and programming is so intense, especially in the area of promoting consumption and company loyalty via convincing us they really have feelings, etc., ad nausea that it's no wonder. It wasn't always like this, nor what existed was so ubiquitous and intense. I'm not talking about something that only began a decade ago, although it might seem like it to someone just noticing it now. It's been growing in intensity from at least the 1980s. Product loyalty... yes, that's always been a somewhat... but this entire giving ourselves over to the notion that capitalism has no bad cycle... at all, or that a company actually has yours or my best interests at heart is freaky. Really freaky. They should make Economics 101, Marketing and Advertising 101, and General Business 101, mandatory classes in high school. If for no other reason that because of the kind of culture we've create for ourselves. Those things surround everything we do and have eclipsed so many other areas. For all that is pushed at us in effort to convince us of nothing but lies, we should have the knowledge to understand it for what it is, recognize it when it's happening, and all the ways it is done.

I totally agree, you make excellent points. There are ways to survive without tech in this world but it is almost impossible in this country. I agree we should educate more about the rules of economics and the dangers of oligopoly.

All these greedy corporations have stopped giving to charities. Amazon stopped their program a year or so ago as well.

So sad but true. They do not seem to care about their customers either. I have yet to get a response to my question from August of 2023. Moved almost everything back to Google.

I did a recovery reset and it went back to original Windows Microsoft Edge and it did a re-updated everything works great now even Bing on my phone works great now I think that's just a coincidence

Great idea, maybe a coincidence but I think it is worth trying and can be helpful for a lot of people. Thanks. It worked on my Google chrome but not on my iPhone.
