notification bell and rewards icons missing in microsoft start default page on edge

since few days, the notification bell icon (rated/answered comments from media articles, new followers, etc ), smartphone icon and microsoft reward icon in the top-right corner of edge default home page (the one with daily news, weather, etc) all vanished, i have only the parameters icon available.

all notification are checked "on" in microsoft start config page.

and the icons appear without problems in the differents press articles pages, the missing icons problem seems to occur only in the edge new tab default page.

how to get the icons back???

    Same with me. One day it came back like normal. Then another update and it was gone again. Problem has to be on Microsoft's end.

    Oh yes, the problem is on Microsoft. My notification bell is back but I'm not getting notifications for comments to articles.

    The only notifications I'm receiving are to news articles. If I want to see any comments made back to me on an article I've

    posted to I have to click on an article that allows comments. When that comes up I have to click on my sign-on picture

    and that will take me to my comments and any replies to me.

    Will this be fixed anytime soon? or shall I just start using fire fox where the bell/notifications are working?

    I haven't a clue if and when it will be fixed. I got an update yesterday and it didn't clean up this problem.

    Plus, I can't believe those of us commenting on this subject are the only ones out of all of MSN's customers

    who are experiencing this aggravation.

    Some Folks can think this is something that is "broken" and needs to be fixed. Some Folks will use this as more fuel to grumble & complain and or want something back to what they consider 'normal'. However, I will state, repeat the facts of the matter:

    BTW, the possibilities for the NTP background are only limited by your imagination. Besides what one can pick from the plethora of available choices, one can, also, use Designer Image Generator & create their own.

    I won't bother commenting on things going back & forth before & until they stabilized. This occasionally happen when & while things are in a state of flux & changing. And things DID change.

    1. Microsoft Start ceased to exist.
    2. Things took on MSN branding.
    3. Some changes came with #2. Basic functionality remained unchanged.
    4. NTP was revamped. Cleaned up, tidied up, streamlined, decluttered.

    So, like it or not, accept it or not, praise it or not, gripe about it or not... this is what it is, NOW.
