since few days, the notification bell icon (rated/answered comments from media articles, new followers, etc ), smartphone icon and microsoft reward icon in the top-right corner of edge default home page (the one with daily news, weather, etc) all vanished, i have only the parameters icon available.
all notification are checked "on" in microsoft start config page.
and the icons appear without problems in the differents press articles pages, the missing icons problem seems to occur only in the edge new tab default page.
how to get the icons back???

If you click the MSN logo it opens a new tab which you can change to suit what you want to see and also has the missing icons back.

See my reply of today, Saturday, 11/16/2024, of the fix that I found that solved my problem. Maybe it will help you as well.
Click on three dots in upper right corner → ...
Click on Settings
In drop-down menu toward the bottom click on Reset settings.
After doing this my bell 🔔 icon was restored and solved a few other annoyances as well.
If you click the MSN logo it opens a new tab which you can change to suit what you want to see and also has the missing icons back.

Sorry, none of the suggestions from the first one posted on October 15, 2024, until I posted the solution that worked for me were any help.
I even restarted my laptop two or three times, and nothing changed. Shutting down completely and letting it sit for 15 minutes had no effect on the icons. I even thought maybe overnight Friday night, 11/15/2024, it would correct itself. Nothing worked for me until I clicked on Reset settings early this afternoon.
This reply is correct. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to bring the icons to your personalized start page. This looks like Microsoft's ham-fisted way to force you to click on MSN for the top right icons of weather, rewards, notifications and settings. I guess they want to annoy people into making the MSN front page the default start page whenever you open Edge, just like when you open the browser for the very first time.

Yes, I think you are correct. No amount of searching or trying this or that had any effect on icons reappearing until I did the Reset settings. I wasn't sure if I was creating a bigger mess or even if would change anything. Flabbergasted to find everything was pretty much like I wanted it and pretty much had been before this started in mid-October.
