why am i not earning microsoft points like i usually do?

I am guessing that fast searches are being flagged as coming from bots and are not being credited. I continue to see that if I do a search pretty quickly after another search, I don't earn points, but if I wait a second or two and do a search, it is credited. Try experimenting with how quickly you search and see if that's what you are experiencing. This is, of course, just a guess based on what I have seen in the past month or so. Formerly, I could search as quickly as I liked and the points were awarded.

Honestly I can see no rhyme or reason. Some days I am limited to 3 searches in 15 minutes, sometimes not. Most of the time on PC I have to clear cache and also toggle on and off the Edge Rewards setting. Some days I can just type in searches consecutively and get all 150 points. Very bizarre. Also VPN seems to be a problem often as not.

I asked Bing and got a message saying they felt I was just clicking on a bunch of stuff to add to my points. Somedays I can add points, others not. I assume they felt I was just redeeming too fast.I'm not a gamer so I have no interest in that. I can take the quiz, etc and get nothing. My points have been reduced also. I do my searches for things that interest me but apparently that doesn't matter to Microsoft. If they don't want to offer rewards that are useful to everybody, then they shouldn't do it.

wow - that is quite a response from them. I am still having issues earning points. It is not consistent - so frustrating.
