MS Edge Version: 114.0.1823.37
For some reason, I no longer have the Web Select option in the right-click context menu. I still have Web Capture, but Web Select is no longer there. Did MS remove this feature, or is it a bug?

OK, I went to another PC, this one Windows 10 with latest (at time of typing) version of Edge: Version 116.0.1938.69 (Official build) (64-bit).
Web select IS there and seems to be working. So maybe it isn't gone due to intent of the Edge team.
My Hypothesis is that since my other PC is a Corp Managed PC there may be a policy disabling "Web Select" or something similar. I'm sure it isn't to do with Windows 11 vs 10 though. 🤔
Funny thing is Web Select is available on my corp device but on Stable version but I don't have it on my personal device when I was on Beta version.
I've downloaded the beta edge and web select was there until I closed the browser. I don't have the option to opt out os prerelease builds of edge even on my release version of edge and it'll still update itself to v117.0.2045.2 with the new layout and no web select. I don't know if this is because I'm on window's insider preview or not, I just would really love to have this feature back.
Hi Darren,
thanks a lot for your reply.
Unfortunately, like AamitM reports below, the web select was present on Beta version only the first time I opened it after installation.
I was told to reset the pc and install Windows 10 instead of the current Windows 11. I am not sure if this could be a viable solution in the long term, as I do not know the advantages of Windows 11 compared to the 10 one. Could I do it by myself, or is it better to rely on an IT shop?
Somebody suggested that Chromium may have the web select tool, but I was not able to see it.
What I really cannot understand is how may Edge versions kept the web select under web capture, and some did not. Feedback tool does not seem to be a swift solution as I haven't received any answers from the team yet.
Anyways, the real trouble is that I need Web select for work and I really striving without it.
