I have Windows 10 Pro running my computer and would like to completely get rid of Edge. I don't use it and don't plan on ever using it so it's basically just a nuisance to me. Any help would be appreciated.

As far as I know, it isn't possible to get rid of Edge completely. However, you can install some other web browser and set it as the system default.

Microsoft Edge is the web browser recommended by Microsoft and is the default web browser for Windows. Because Windows supports applications that rely on the web platform, our default web browser is an essential component of our operating system and can’t be uninstalled. To provide our users with compatibility, compliance, accessibility, and performance, we'll continue updating Microsoft Edge through the browser installer or Windows updates.

I hope this is helpful! Best Regards, Utkarsh
I dislike microsoft edge , and wil never use it , it suck up ur data and wast ur time .
There is a way, but if you have used and saved data on Microsoft Edge, yu should get that data backed up, there is a regedit key that prevents from removing it, search it on google and you have to go there (Open Regedit as Administrator tho') and put all the carpets and search until the archive "Microsoft Edge", then find a DWORD called "NoRemove". Set it from 1 to 0. then go to Control Panel and see if the Uninstall button appears up there, and if you get to the uninstaller, it will glitch or appear a normal window (Depends on the OS, From Win 10-11), and uninstall it. Done!
Hmm, I think I might just give this a go.
"Microsoft Edge is an irritation - from what I have read Windows 11 is intrusive and restrictive of what a person may like on his PC - I will personally not have Windows on my next PC purchase and am investigating other operating systems

Ubuntu.
Just as easy to use as Windows.
Comes with no bloat, and does not invade privacy.
Well said: "Windows 11 is intrusive and restrictive of what a person may like on his PC".
I bought a new PC which came with Windows 11. Found it difficult to use programs I preferred - seemed Windows was steering me (pushing me?) toward the Microsoft apps. I want freedom of choice. Tried Win 11 for two weeks, just could not accept it. Returned the PC and ordered another with Win 10 installed, which I'm OK with. Yes, there is still the Edge issue, but I run Chrome and can dodge Edge.
