I have Windows 10 Pro running my computer and would like to completely get rid of Edge. I don't use it and don't plan on ever using it so it's basically just a nuisance to me. Any help would be appreciated.

As far as I know, it isn't possible to get rid of Edge completely. However, you can install some other web browser and set it as the system default.

I have changed my default browser to Chrome bothe in the apps setting and in the reg. I have also tried numerous other fixes to stop edge from poening automaticly.
Nothing has worked.
Yet Microsoft will keep on trying to get you to switch to edge. I almost see it as a virus.
Towing the party line I see. As I see it, anything Microsoft which is not essential to be removed, including Edge. I use a grown up browser, Firefox.
I have seen too many people, including myself, who have been "infected" by microsoft as they try to force users tous their software. I will find a way to remove edge.
